Copyright & DMCA

Effective Date: September 22, 2026  ยท  Company: Kadrio

Kadrio turns prompts into videos, images and audio, and lets you publish what you make. We respect the copyrights of others and expect you to as well. This page explains how to tell us about material on Kadrio that you believe infringes your copyright, and how a user can answer, in line with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512).

1. Sending a notice of claimed infringement

Your notice must be in writing and contain the six things §512(c)(3) asks for:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough), as the owner of the copyright or a person authorised to act for the owner.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed — or, if several works on Kadrio are covered by one notice, a representative list of them.
  3. Identification of the material you say is infringing and enough information for us to find it: the full URL on getkadrio.com, or the video, image or account ID.
  4. Your contact details: postal address, telephone number and, if you have one, email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.

A notice missing any of these cannot be acted on; we will tell you what is missing.

2. Where to send it

Notices of claimed infringement reach us at support@getkadrio.com — put “DMCA notice” in the subject line. We have not yet designated an agent with the U.S. Copyright Office; when we do, this section will name them, and this address will keep working.

3. What we do with a notice

On a complete notice we remove or disable access to the material expeditiously, tell the user who made it, and give them a copy of the notice. We keep a record of every notice and of what was done about it.

4. Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice under §512(g)(3) to the same address. It must contain:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before it was removed.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your district — or, if you are outside the United States, any district in which Kadrio may be found — and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.

We forward the counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within ten business days that they have filed a court action to restrain the infringement, we restore the material between ten and fourteen business days after receiving the counter-notice.

5. Repeat infringers

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright. A user whose material is the subject of more than one valid notice that is not answered by a valid counter-notice loses their account, and what is on it, as the Terms describe.

6. Misrepresentation

Under §512(f), anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, is liable for the damages that follow, including the costs and legal fees of the other side and of Kadrio.

7. Content you publish elsewhere through Kadrio

When you use Kadrio to publish to YouTube or another platform, a copy lives on that platform and is governed by its own copyright process. A notice to us reaches the copy we host and the account that made it; for the copy on the other platform, use that platform’s own process.
